Baltimore Public Media Corporation, home of WYPR 88.1 FM and WTMD 89.7 FM, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information collected through our SMS/MMS messaging program.
Information We Collect When you opt in to receive text messages from Baltimore Public Media, we collect your mobile phone number and any information you provide in response to our messages, such as donation amounts or membership preferences.
How We Use Your Information Your mobile number and messaging data will be used solely to communicate with you about Baltimore Public Media membership, donation opportunities, membership renewals, and general station updates and news from WYPR and WTMD. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.
Opt-Out You may opt out of Baltimore Public Media SMS/MMS communications at any time by texting STOP to 866-661-9308. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.
